As we approach the 40th anniversary of Hand Papermaking in 2026, we are excited to share a new way of engaging with our community and the spirit of our work.

To mark this milestone, we have created a special collection of spring merchandise inspired by the creativity, materiality, and community at the heart of Hand Papermaking. This collection is an extension of our ongoing commitment to the field, not only through the magazine, but through the everyday ways we connect with paper, making, and one another.

For four decades, Hand Papermaking has served as a platform for artists, scholars, and practitioners who explore the possibilities of paper as both material and idea. With this new collection, we wanted to create objects that carry that same spirit into daily life, items that can be used, worn, and lived with.

This first release features a selection of limited edition pieces designed for the spring season. We see this as just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing additional special merchandise in the months ahead as part of our anniversary year. More limited items are also on the way.
